K-I MINNOW 65 SP Lipless Tune had long been used as a secret weapon by local anglers.
As its numerous proven results demonstrate, this meticulously designed imitation lure closely resembles smelt in every detail. In many lakes throughout Japan, it was quietly relied upon as the original i-shaped lure.
Based on K-I MINNOW 65 SP Lipless Tune, HMKL Jordan was developed and refined as a lure designed to give anglers the edge and help them win.
After countless rounds of testing, the rear hook was removed and replaced with fly-fishing tinsel. The floating configuration creates the distinctive nose-down posture of the K-I body. This subtle posture can trigger even neutral bass following from behind to move ahead of the lure and strike, while dramatically increasing the chances of converting fish that would otherwise do what was commonly seen with conventional i-shaped lures—follow the lure for a while before turning away without striking.
Despite its compact body, HMKL Jordan delivers remarkable fish-attracting power. Its almost unbelievable effectiveness is sure to surprise and delight anglers. (The name “Jordan” is also a play on the Japanese word “jōdan (冗談),” meaning “joke” or “kidding.”)
