< HOW TO USE >
A new “cigarette foil-inspired plate” has been adopted for Super Jordan 68.
Its soft, subdued flash is particularly effective under bright, high-light conditions.
When Kazuma Izumi first began making handmade lures, he noticed that the aluminum foil used on his lure bodies sometimes produced more flash than he wanted while fishing. He began wondering, “Is there a way to create a slightly more subdued shine?”
He then tried using the silver foil found inside cigarette packaging, which was readily available to him at the time. Through his fishing experience, he found that lures using this material were particularly effective at catching fish under bright, high-light conditions.
Although it has the appearance of aluminum foil, its textured surface produces a softer, more subdued flash. Since then, Izumi has selected between different foil finishes depending on the weather and fishing conditions.
Super Jordan is the latest model in the Jordan series, developed around the concept of “Hook More, Land More.” It was designed with a focus on maximizing the chances of landing fish once they bite.
Featuring a two-hook setup with hooks positioned at the belly and tail, Super Jordan is equipped with a swivel hook hanger system, helping to reduce the risk of fish coming unhooked during the fight. The newly adopted high-hardness, fine-wire hooks with inward-facing points are designed to catch even the slightest short bites, helping you capitalize on subtle strikes that might otherwise be missed.
The original Jordan 65-size body has also been extended by 3 mm, resulting in improved casting distance.
While maintaining the remarkably simple and intuitive action that has always been a hallmark of the Jordan series, Super Jordan has been refined into an even more reliable lure that gives you greater confidence when targeting fish.
< HOW TO USE >
① After casting, leave the lure floating on the surface and let it sit undisturbed for about 30 seconds. Then, slowly retrieve it with a straight retrieve.
② Use the rod to twitch the lure and make it walk the dog underwater. Then, let it float back up and sit for about 20 seconds. Repeat this sequence.
